    Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    This role involves overseeing building upkeep and ensuring a functional and safe environment for occupants. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, coordinating vendor services, and implementing safety procedures. This position requires leadership, organizational and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge of building systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

    + Coordinate and oversee vendor services for building maintenance.

    + Implement and adhere to safety procedures to ensure a secure environment.

    + Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel.

    + Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects within set timelines and budgets.

    Essential Skills

    + Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of maintenance personnel.

    + Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and equipment.

    + Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify and resolve facility-related issues effectively.

    + Organizational & Time Management: Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.

    + Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and other departments.

    + Project Management: Ability to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects within set timelines and budgets.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Schematic and PLC troubleshooting.

    + Industrial, welding, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + 6+ months of manufacturing maintenance experience.

    + 6+ months of facilities experience.

    + Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and facilities issues.

    Work Environment

    Work in a small family-like environment with a wide open concept. The dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toed boots, with PPE supplied by the company. The position is hourly paid with built-in overtime each week, working the first shift from 6am-2:30pm, Monday through Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
