Job Title: Outbound Associate** **Job Description

The Outbound Professional, also known as a Personal Shopper, is responsible for picking and packing grocery items and other goods, scanning items for order completion, and ensuring that the customer's goods are well protected. This role does not require previous experience.

Responsibilities

+ Pick and pack grocery items and other goods.

+ Scan items for order completion and ensure customer satisfaction.

+ Maintain safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse.

+ Audit products for quality.

+ Assist in housekeeping of the department.

+ Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when needed.

+ Follow safe food practices specific to the department.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to count and scan items accurately.

+ Experience in shipping and receiving, or as a stocker or inventory personnel.

+ Comfortable working in cold environments for up to 8 hours at 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

+ Experience with fresh produce handling.

+ Proficiency with scanning equipment.

+ Strong customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with inventory management is beneficial.

+ Ability to handle physical tasks such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.

+ Experience with FDA approved cleaning chemicals.

+ Required to wear oil and slip-resistant shoes.

Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art facility exposes employees to temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing) and between 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators). Employees are required to stand or walk for 6-10 hours or more, with hand use involving single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Regular exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals is expected. This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
