    SMT Quality Specialist

    Job Description

    Join our team as an SMT Quality Specialist where you will operate and maintain SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, and Wash Machines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by setting up and tearing down machines, loading feeders with electronic components, and performing inspections.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate SMT equipment including Juki Pick & Place machines, Reflow Ovens, AOI systems, and Wash Machines.

    + Set up and teardown SMT machines according to detailed work instructions.

    + Load feeders with electronic components according to setup sheets.

    + Verify components and follow production documentation.

    + Make minor machine adjustments and clear machine jams as needed.

    + Position PCBs on machine fixtures and monitor machine operation.

    + Perform visual inspection of assembled boards for quality issues.

    + Complete production records and batch logs accurately.

    + Follow all safety procedures and protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly, production line, or manufacturing.

    + Mechanically inclined.

    + Ability to stand during the majority of the shift.

    + Experience in electronic assembly and use of hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No prior experience required – comprehensive training provided.

    + High school diploma or GED preferred.

    + Strong vision and hand-eye coordination.

    + Ability to follow detailed written instructions.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks.

    + Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Ability to work well in a team environment.

    + Reliable attendance and punctuality.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
