Maintenance Mechanic
Description
Preform preventative maintenance as scheduled daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly using a PM computer system and paperwork. The role will be responsible for understanding and executing full equipment breakdowns in any necessary PM event. The role is responsible for determining any frequency change in PM structure for the production equipment based on knowledge and experience. The role will be the leader in training for team members on all plant wide PMs. Assist in the planning and execution of repairing and/or replacing facility equipment, such as but not limited to compressors, boilers, HVAC units. Check electrical room for nonfunctioning components (VFDs, switches/breakers, etc.). Performs assigned day-to-day repairs to include, major plumbing, production lighting, doors and associated hardware, building equipment and systems. Responds quickly to emergency situations (i.e., water leaks, power outage, building alarms), summoning additional assistance as needed. Perform setup, takedown, and reconfiguration of production equipment and furniture in offices. Fabricate lines, conveyors, machine equipment, and tools used in the production areas of the facility. Includes using tools like band saws, torch, welder, drill press, saws, hand, cordless, and pneumatic tools. Perform maintenance on machines on the production floor or in the shop due to major breakdowns. Maintenance can involve major adjustments that may entitle a complete breakdown of any machinery in the facility due to functionality issues. Assist with machine breakdown and assembly during CIP function. Performs inspections on the functionality of electrical units up ranging potentially up to 480V with the use of the appropriate tools/equipment. This includes the ability to determine what combination of wires need to be joined in a nine-lead motor, change out power supplies and VFD units. Able to operator heavy equipment such as but not limited to; forklift, scissor lift, electric pallet jack, electric hoist etc. additionally, will be able to conduct minor repairs to any heavy equipment that may pose a safety concern or is not functional. Coach maintenance team members in addition to production operators on basic maintenance and equipment settings. Maintain a great partnership with all facility member to achieve production effectiveness in all KPIs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
