Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and fitting stainless ductwork, including welding tasks. This position is part of a long-term project at a major hospital, requiring a commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Install stainless ductwork with precision and attention to detail.

+ Fit and weld stainless duct to meet project specifications.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

+ Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.

Essential Skills

+ 2-5+ years of experience in sheet metal, HVAC, and ductwork installation.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ OSHA 10 certification or higher.

+ Ability to operate a scissor lift.

+ Possession of own hand tools, including wrench, pliers, channel locks, vice grips, impact drill, 9/16ths sockets with impact adapter, and screwdrivers.

+ Cut level 4 gloves required.

+ Type 2 hard hat with chin strap mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
