    Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Shift: Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm

    About the Role

     

    The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment to minimize downtime and support continuous production. You’ll work closely with operations, safety, and engineering teams to ensure all systems operate at peak performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems

    + Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

    + Install, repair, and maintain motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and production equipment

    + Conduct equipment inspections and document findings

    + Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints

    + Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations

    + Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

    + Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

    + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

    + Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation

    + Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in industrial environments

    + Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

    Preferred:

    + Experience with PLCs, VFDs, or automation systems

    + Welding or fabrication skills

    + HVAC, boiler, or refrigeration experience

    + Maintenance certifications (CMRT, OSHA, etc.)

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
