Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Cash Processing Teller to join our team in Broadview, Illinois. In this contract role, you will play an essential part in managing and processing customer deposits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position requires a strong focus on precision and security, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect deposit bags for signs of tampering and verify assigned work for accuracy.

• Process customer deposits, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve out-of-balance conditions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations throughout all cash-handling operations.

• Detect counterfeit currency and suspicious activities, reporting findings promptly to supervisors.

• Meet or exceed daily productivity targets for deposit handling and processing.

• Verify cash settlements and transfer funds securely to designated vaults.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and share recommendations with management.

• Work independently, managing tasks without direct supervision.

The salary range for this position is $17 to $18. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Previous experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or payment posting.

• Proficiency in handling cash payments and posting transactions accurately.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect discrepancies or irregularities.

• Familiarity with compliance standards related to cash-handling and deposit processing.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting productivity goals.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
