Description We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Conroe, Texas, on a contract basis. This role involves a mix of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility while requiring hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting operations and the ability to analyze and optimize financial workflows for a dynamic organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed reconciliations for accounts, including bank and credit card transactions, within QuickBooks Online.

• Review and adjust cost center setups to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.

• Investigate and resolve integration issues between QuickBooks Online and inventory systems.

• Assess current accounting workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.

• Collaborate with external consultants to support year-end tax preparation and compliance.

• Work closely with operational teams to streamline inventory, expense, and revenue tracking processes.

• Ensure accurate journal entries and general ledger management to maintain financial integrity.

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create reports and analyze data effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on QuickBooks Online.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

• Expertise in performing bank and credit card reconciliations.

• Familiarity with cost center setups and their impact on financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve accounting system integration issues.

• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
