Description

Partnering with a growing hospitality company in the heart of Denver, CO seeking a Senior Accountant.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, fun, and high-potential team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting processes for inventory and cost of goods sold, including variance analysis and research.

• Conduct trend analysis for operational expenses such as security, cleaning, and entertainment services.

• Oversee payroll-related accounting tasks, including accruals for wages and benefits during period-end.

• Handle travel-related expense accounting and ensure accuracy in reporting.

• Prepare journal entries and accruals as required for various accounting tasks.

• Review income statement accounts to identify necessary accruals and draft corresponding journal entries.

• Perform reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Operate general ledger systems and complete month-end close procedures efficiently.

• Follow established accounting procedures and maintain adherence to internal controls.

Requirements

The ideal Senior Accountant comes with...

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

+ 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
