Description

We are looking for a Mid to Senior level Associate Attorney to join our team in Seattle. This role focuses on litigation within areas such as medical malpractice, personal injury, and insurance defense. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal writing, analytical skills, and oral advocacy to effectively manage high volumes of cases and trials.

Responsibilities:

• Handle litigation cases involving medical malpractice, personal injury, and insurance defense.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.

• Prepare for and represent clients during depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Collaborate with team members, including attorneys, legal staff, and management, to ensure case efficiency.

• Manage multiple cases while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.

• Develop strategies to represent clients effectively in complex legal matters.

• Participate in mentorship programs to refine litigation skills and knowledge.

• Provide exceptional client service by addressing concerns and keeping clients informed.

• Stay updated on healthcare and insurance defense laws to provide informed counsel.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in litigation, ideally in medical malpractice, personal injury, or insurance defense.

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills are essential.

• Demonstrated oral advocacy skills and courtroom experience.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Active license to practice law in the state of Washington.
