Description We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficient operation of facilities and ensuring seamless coordination of resources. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining conference rooms, managing schedules, and assisting with computerized systems to streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the maintenance and organization of conference rooms to ensure functionality and cleanliness.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and manage facility operations.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to address facility-related needs and concerns.
• Monitor schedules and records using Kronos Timekeeping System to ensure accurate tracking.
• Support the Facilities Coordinator in day-to-day operations and special projects.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement.
• Assist in implementing processes to improve efficiency and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of facility services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to facility activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in all facility operations. Requirements • Proven experience in facilities management or a related role.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Knowledge of conference room setup and maintenance.
• Proficiency in using Kronos Timekeeping System for scheduling and record keeping.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external service providers.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
