    Your Career

     

    As a Senior Certification Manager at Palo Alto Networks, you will play an instrumental role in our world-class product management organization. You will be responsible for attaining critical global certifications across our product line, enabling our products to be sold into key markets worldwide. This role involves coordinating all certification activities, from strategy to execution, and contributing directly to the content required to achieve them, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of compliance and security.

    Your Impact

    + Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering to develop and execute certification strategies aligned with business imperatives.

    + Own and drive all aspects of certification projects from initiation to completion, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Apply a deep understanding of complex technical security architectures, including cloud environments, to certification and compliance projects.

    + Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to all stakeholders, from engineering teams to executive management, ensuring alignment across the organization.

    + Develop expert-level technical knowledge of the product line to engage fluently with consultants, certification agencies, and technical teams.

    + Perform hands-on product testing and develop comprehensive documentation to support the certification process.

    + Proactively identify and solve potential roadblocks in the certification lifecycle by challenging assumptions and applying learned solutions from past projects.

    Your Experience

    + Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.

    + 5-8 years of experience in Compliance, Governance, and Risk Management (GRC).

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology-focused risk assessments and remediation management.

    + Master's degree in a relevant field.

    + Additional security certifications such as PCI ISA/PCIP, CRISC, or CISSP.

    + Experience with country-specific certifications for European and APAC regions.

    + Demonstrated skill in cross-functional project and program management.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience managing third-party audits (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).

    + Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.

     

    The Team

     

    Product Management or PDM - To stay ahead of the curve, it’s critical to know where the curve is and how to anticipate the changes we’re facing. For the fastest-growing cybersecurity company, the curve is the evolution of cyberattacks and the products and services that proactively address them. Our Product Management team helps us do just that. This team provides the behind-the-scenes support for our products by being a source of information for our Systems Engineers, staying on top of the environment we sell in and helping to implement technical solutions based on our clients' feedback and needs. As threats and technology evolve, we stay ahead to accomplish our mission.

     

    Compensation Disclosure

     

    The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $150K - $190KYR.
