    Job Title: Sr. Accountant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Accountant to join our team. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of Alliant Royalties software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality through comprehensive testing and analysis.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the implementation of Alliant Royalties software, ensuring all financial data is accurately migrated and integrated.

    + Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that the software meets business requirements and functions correctly.

    + Perform parallel testing to compare the new system's outputs with the existing system, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

    + Drive improvements in close efficiency, accuracy, and automation of manual tasks.

    + Support ERP enhancements, financial reporting tools, and reconciliation system improvements.

    + Develop SOPs and documentation to improve scalability and consistency across the accounting team.

    + Prepare and review complex journal entries (accruals, reserves, revenue deferrals, allocations, inventory/costing adjustments, etc.).

    + Complete advanced balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items proactively.

    + Support consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, eliminations, and foreign currency impacts.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

    + 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or corporate).

    + Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.

    + Demonstrated experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

    + Advanced Excel/Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling basics).

    + Familiarity with mid-to-large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).

    + Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

     

    Work Environment

     

    + The position is based at our corporate headquarters, with on-site work required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is an excellent growth opportunity with a top employer in JAX.

    This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $41.00/hr.
