+ Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
+ Consultants will work on site during the first week of training each day
+ After the initial training week, the role will require on‑site presence every Tuesday and Wednesday, with additional days as business needs require
+ This position is best suited for local candidates
Position Overview
The Consultant is responsible for accurately preparing, reconciling, and maintaining Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Commission/Licensing data within assigned systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working across multiple platforms, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve complex inquiries while meeting deadlines and service‑level expectations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Prepare, reconcile, and maintain financial and commission‑related data with a high degree of accuracy
+ Work regularly in Excel, internal systems, banking platforms, and vendor portals
+ Process bank deposits, check traces, invoicing, and other daily financial transactions
+ Communicate professionally with agents, groups, and internal customers via phone or system queues
+ Research, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and complex account inquiries
+ Identify and correct data issues within applicable systems (e.g., claims, CRM, and clinical or financial platforms)
+ Enter data accurately and post transactions to the appropriate accounts
+ Manage daily workload to meet established service level agreements (SLAs)
+ Maintain organized paper and electronic files to ensure proper documentation and retention
+ Adapt to changes in internal processes, systems, and external regulatory or business requirements
+ Build and maintain effective working relationships across departments
+ Perform account research and support collection activities as needed
+ Complete required training and ongoing education, including role‑specific and departmental requirements
+ Perform all assigned duties in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
+ Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and integrity in all work activities
+ Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Advanced or proficient skills in Microsoft Excel
+ Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Self‑motivated with strong problem‑solving and investigative abilities
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
