    Position: LTS RTI Reading Teacher (Posting number 2526-3610)

     

    Dates: April 6, 2026 - June 22, 2026

     

    Requirements: Must have NYS Certification as a Birth-grade 6 Literacy Teacher or K-12 Permanent Reading

    + NYS 1-6 Students with Disabilities certification

    + Exemplify the WCSD vision, Core Beliefs, and Essential Skills

    + Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

    Responsibilities:

    + Provides comprehensive instruction in the district-approved reading curriculum

    + Integrates literacy skills and strategies ensuring that all students are able to access appropriate text and communicate understanding through writing

    + Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference

    + Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students

     

    Salary: As per current Webster Teachers Contract, as well as education and experience
