Job Title: Field Reciprocating Engine Operator

Type: Direct

Compensation: $30 hourly (+/-)

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 12+ hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays

Security Clearance: Background Clearance will be required by customer

Position Summary:

System One is seeking a Reciprocating Engine Operator with leadership experience along with strong knowledge of operating of CAT gas engines to supply temporary power to fracking site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Operate and monitor gas reciprocating engine packages and related equipment.

+ Track performance using control panels, gauges, and instrumentation.

+ Coordinate with Remote Operations Center for troubleshooting and fault resolution.

+ Assess equipment readiness after shutdowns and assist with commissioning activities.

+ Maintain accurate operational logs and records.

+ Lead troubleshooting and apply software tools for operational efficiency.

+ Support installation and optimization of power generation assets.

+ Conduct routine inspections and uphold housekeeping standards.

+ Ensure compliance with safety protocols and HSE requirements

Qualifications

+ Minimum 1 year of gas turbine or electrical operations experience.

+ Experience with reciprocating engine packages; CAT gas engine experience preferred.

+ Ability to read electrical and control schematics.

+ Physically capable of working in all weather conditions and lifting 80 lbs.

+ Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills under time-sensitive conditions.
