Position Overview
We are seeking a School Psychologist to support students through a range of mental health and developmental needs and to assist in qualifying students for additional support services. This role is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to K–12 students under state and district jurisdiction, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student success.
Assignment Details
+ Location: New Braunfels, TX
+ Start Date: February 2, 2026 (ASAP)
+ End Date: May 28, 2026
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
+ Hours: 37 hours per week
+ Pay Rate: $55 per hour
+ Modality: In-person
+ Openings: 1
+ Duration: Approximately 20 weeks
Caseload & Grade Details
+ Grade Level: K–12
+ Caseload: Approximately 30–50 students
+ Classroom Support: None
Responsibilities
+ Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
+ Develop and support IEPs in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
+ Provide direct student services including counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
+ Maintain compliance with state, district, and professional standards of practice
Requirements
+ Active state licensure and/or certification as a School Psychologist in Texas
+ Master’s degree in Psychology preferred
+ Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred
+ Must comply with all applicable professional standards of practice
+ CPR certification if applicable
+ TB screening and current health certificate per state guidelines
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
