Position Overview
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA – ES) provides consultation, training, and behavioral support services for students with academic and behavioral deficits in a school setting. This role includes conducting behavioral evaluations and developing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
The BCBA functions as a clinical teacher, educating and supporting school staff by observing, assessing, and supervising educational activities and behavioral service delivery to ensure effective and compliant intervention practices.
Key Responsibilities
+ Conduct behavioral evaluations and functional behavior assessments
+ Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
+ Provide consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams
+ Observe and assess student behavior across educational settings
+ Support and supervise behavioral service delivery in the school environment
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
Minimum Requirements
+ Current BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
+ Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Teaching, Psychology, or a related field
+ Preferred experience providing behavioral programs and services in school settings
+ Minimum one (1) year pediatric experience preferred
+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
