We have a Class A Driver opening in Princeton, IN for New CDL Graduates that have received their CDL License. We want the right driver to join us at Ryder.

6 - 9 Months Experience ask about our Extended Driver Development Program!

We have developed proficiency-based training with experienced facilitators. Drivers will receive 8 weeks of training focusing on all backing, close quarter maneuvers, practice doing short and longer runs and get paid while doing so. Gain hands-on experience from the finest instructors in the industry.

+ Ryder Drivers are Paid Weekly

+ Weekly Guarantee $1050 per week

+ Solo Miles Pay: $0.55 per Mile with 2500 Miles per Week

+ Solo Stops Pay: $13.00 per Stop

+ Drop and Hook Pay: $6.00 per Drop / Hook

+ Schedule: Must Be Flexible

+ Start Time: Must Be Flexible With Both AM and PM Shifts

Requirements

+ 9 months or less of CDL driving experience

+ Minimum 21 years of age

+ Pass a Ryder Drug Test

+ Pass a Ryder background and a Motor Vehicle Registration check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

+ Pass a DOT physical

+ Pass a Ryder road test

+ Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

+ Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A

+ Ability to:

+ Follow written and/or oral instructions

+ Read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

**Important Note:** Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

+ Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

+ Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

+ Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) regarding the checking in and out of freight

+ Perform other duties as assigned
