Join our team as a full‑time Manager, Development professional supporting the mission of the St. Margaret Foundation!
This position follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends, holidays, floating, or travel required. In this role, you will lead and support a wide range of fundraising initiatives including but not limited to annual campaigns, major gifts, capital campaigns, planned giving, and signature events, while managing a portfolio of donors and prospects. Working closely with the Manager of Partnership Giving & Office Systems and reporting to the Foundation Director, you will maintain accurate donor data, cultivate new and existing supporters, and serve as a key ambassador for the Foundation's mission.

Purpose:
Functions as the charitable development manager for specific UPMC Hospital Foundation. Manages all administrative tasks and performs diversified duties, assign specific tasks and responsibilities, and set priorities. This position reports to the Foundation Director.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead daily operations of the Hospital Foundation with a strategic focus on donor development, philanthropic growth, and mission-driven fund development. Manage donor database for accurate gift tracking, reporting, and timely recognition; oversee naming opportunities and donor plaque installations. Prepare monthly financial and deposit reports to support transparency and stewardship. Manages Portfolio book of business, volunteers, and interns, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring quality performance through feedback and resolution of personnel issues. Coordinate office activities with Foundation Leadership, focusing on grant stewardship and tracking of incoming and outgoing funds. Drive special fundraising campaigns and donor programs; develop materials, manage grants, and oversee donor-funded initiatives.
+ Provide research and administrative support for proposals and grants; maintain and update procedural manuals to reflect best practices. Plan and execute donor-focused events, appreciation programs, and hospital initiatives to enhance visibility and engagement. Collaborate with Foundation committees, UPMC Finance, and external partners to ensure fiscal integrity and donor trust. Serve as liaison to the Board and campaign committees; manage fund transfers and ensure alignment with donor intent. Uphold system-wide competencies and take on additional duties to support development goals. All other duties as assigned by the Foundation Director.
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, science or management information science or the equivalent education/experience
+ 5 years of experience in financial arena and fund-raising management experience.
+ Ability to work independently with time limits and under stressful situations.
+ Significant experience in a non-profit environment.
+ Extensive experience in Excel spreadsheet applications, accounting software, work processing, accounting/bookkeeping.
+ Raiser's Edge database management and computer skills. Verbal and written communication skills.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
