**Pay Range:** $38.00 – $47.00/hr.

About the Role

PDS Defense Inc. is seeking a highly skilled **Procurement Agent 3 – Buyer/Planner** to support our Materials & Standards organization. In this role, you will focus heavily on Project Manager–aligned statement of work, collaborating with internal partners and cross‑functional teams to deliver projects that support critical supply chain and business objectives. You will play a key role in ensuring our supply chain is efficient, effective, and aligned with company goals—leveraging your background in materials, planning, supplier management, and contracting.

Key Responsibilities

+ Integrate program, customer, product, and in‑service strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.

+ Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.

+ Prepare, execute, and manage negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.

+ Perform risk, issues, and opportunities management across supply base and projects.

+ Oversee supply and demand planning, scheduling, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.

+ Drive and implement supplier improvement activities, incorporating results into future contracting strategies.

+ Collaborate with internal teams to execute category‑aligned projects for the Materials & Standards organization.

Day‑to‑Day Expectations

+ Partner with Project Managers to advance statement‑of‑work deliverables.

+ Drive cross‑functional integration across supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, and program teams.

+ Support planning initiatives and ensure alignment with category strategies.

+ Assist in ensuring organizational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

+ **5+ years of Materials & Standards experience.**

+ Education/experience combination such as:

+ Bachelor's degree + typically 6+ years of related experience, **or**

+ Master's degree + typically 4+ years of related experience, **or**

+ 10+ years of related professional experience.

+ Strong negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and project coordination skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting complex supply chain deliverables.
