About the role
The Sr. Director is a senior role within the Brands organization responsible for leading a team that manages a portfolio of high-value, strategic corporate accounts, including Sysco, US Foods, Dot, and Gordon. This role drives commercial growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction by developing and executing long-term account strategies, serving as the senior point of contact for major clients, and delivering innovative solutions that align with both client and organizational objectives. The Sr. Director acts as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, negotiates complex agreements, and collaborates cross-functionally to maximize value and ensure best-in-class service delivery.
Key responsibilities
Strategic Account Leadership
+ Lead the development and execution of long‑term strategic growth plans for key client accounts.
+ Serve as the senior point of contact for major clients, building and maintaining strong executive‑level relationships.
+ Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and expansion of services within assigned accounts.
Commercial Ownership
+ Own account profitability, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
+ Negotiate complex contracts and agreements that balance client needs with organizational goals.
+ Prepare and present account health updates, performance metrics, and commercial outcomes to senior leadership.
Team & Broker Management
+ Lead and coach direct reports while overseeing annual operational planning for key corporate accounts.
+ Support the team in resolving complex issues and ensuring timely, high‑quality solutions for clients.
+ Maintain professionalism, trust, and credibility with key corporate accounts.
+ Build and sustain a high‑performing team environment.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
+ Partner closely with sales, marketing, commercial finance, supply chain, and other internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and innovative solutions.
+ Lead client‑facing initiatives, coordinating internal resources to meet customer objectives effectively.
Qualifications and skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
+ 8+ years of progressive account management experience, including leadership of large or complex accounts at a senior level.
+ Proven success in strategic account leadership, executive‑level client engagement, and full commercial ownership.
+ Demonstrated strength in negotiation, analytics, and relationship management.
+ Experience using CRM platforms and applying data‑driven insights to guide strategic decision‑making.
The pay range for this position is $139,790.00 - $245,838.00. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and Location. In addition, this position is also eligible to earn a performance-based incentive compensation.
