The Senior Project Manager will lead infrastructure services projects, align stakeholders, and deliver quality outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget. The role advances strategic objectives through disciplined project planning, risk management, and clear communication across business and technology teams.

Rate: $55.00 to $60.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

+ Work with executives and senior leaders to create and maintain a plan to achieve the strategic vision and objectives of the project.

+ Partner with business and technology partners to define project scope, design solutions, and create deliverables that support business goals.

+ Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.

+ Draft and submit budget proposals, track financials, and recommend budget changes where necessary.

+ Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, or escalate through proper channels.

+ Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.

+ Plan, schedule, and maintain project milestones using appropriate tools and team meetings.

+ Produce regular status and ad hoc reports for the Steering Committee and other audiences.

+ Partner with business to coordinate user acceptance testing, communications, and training.

+ Ensure and develop required documentation on projects, including installation, support model, and operating procedures.

+ Apply knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes.

+ Perform other duties as required to achieve project and business objectives.

Experience Requirements:

+ At least 5 years of technology project management experience working with technology teams, business stakeholders, and third parties.

+ Experience leading business technology discussions, projects, and programs, including coordinating meetings and presenting project deliverables.

+ Experience working in a PMO-structured environment with standard documentation and tools.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that persuade and motivate stakeholders.

+ Ability to drive discussions to elicit vision, goals, requirements, and business information from executives and teams.

+ Strong understanding of project and software development life cycles including PMLC and SDLC across Waterfall, Iterative, and Scrum.

+ Understanding of infrastructure systems, networks, Cloud, personal computing, systems engineering, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards.

+ Ability to troubleshoot issues in deliverables and manage activities in a dynamic environment.

+ Strong analytical skills for assessing business functionality, technical solutions, and support requirements.

+ Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Slides and Sheets, and project management tools.

+ Experience in Utilities (water or electric) industries preferred.

+ Experience in major infrastructure and application deployment projects preferred.

+ PMP, ITIL, or Lean/Six Sigma certifications preferred.
