Truck Driver:
This position is for our routine maintenance crew and truck driver II is just the classification per the MSA for pay scale. Must have Class D driver license.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor, including, but not limited to lifting 25+ lbs., bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in the heat.
+ Shovel bituminous concrete (asphalt) or other material into the construction area.
+ Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards.
+ Material handling and storage.
+ Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials.
+ Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of the direct supervisor.
+ Convoys tools, equipment and parts to the work area.
+ Gathers tools and supplies to be used at the work site according to the instructions.
+ Saw cut, demo and remove concrete via jack hammering or hand tools.
+ Ability to use tools properly and safely.
+ Safely operate Earth Moving equipment.
+ Act as a spotter for moving equipment to prevent incidents and accidents.
+ Assists in lifting, positioning or fastening objects.
+ May disassemble defective equipment, replace worn or defective parts and reassemble equipment.
+ Working knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in an industrial setting.
+ Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
+ Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
+ Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
+ Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
+ Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
**Education** – no minimum education requirements.
**Experience** – 3-5 years
**Certifications/License:** valid Driver license
