The Manager Quality Control is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality products produced by Permobil by managing the inspecting, packaging and quality functions of the incoming and final department.
Pay Range:$70,000-$72,500
Key Tasks:
ACCOMPLISHES ASSEMBLY MANUFACTURING STAFF JOB RESULTS BY:
Communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures; recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
MAINTAIN QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT RESULTS BY:
Managing quality department personnel; setting up data collection systems; analyzing and presenting data in formal and informal meetings; participating actively and contributing to continuous quality improvements; developing programs and systems to better the quality of products produced; working within the parameters of any quality system.
COMPLETES PRODUCTION PLAN BY:
Scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the process flow.
RESOLVES PERSONNEL PROBLEMS BY:
Investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending/taking actions.
ACCOMPLISHES EMPLOYEE TRAINING OBJECTIVES BY:
Identifying training needs; ensuring proper training is provided and skill check sheets are properly documented for all staff employees; orienting new employees.
ENSURES OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT BY:
Following work instructions for equipment; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining routine checks of equipment to prevent product loss.
MAINTAIN EFFICIENT WORKFLOW BY:
Completing assigned projects within the assigned time frame; monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
PROVIDES COMMUNICATION SUPPORT BY:
Communicating across departments to all levels of management and staff relative information pertaining to department resources and product quality.

Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a field related to work area preferred or a combination of education and/or related experience to total seven years.
A minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in a manufacturing facility or environment required, along with experience in leading, assessing, and developing talent to deliver results. ERP experience and understanding of inventory transactions is preferred.
