    Assistant Track & Field Coach

     

    Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District

     

    The Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake Central School District is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Track & Field Coach for the upcoming season.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist the Head Coach with planning and conducting daily practices

    + Support coaching of event groups (sprints, distance, jumps, throws, or hurdles, as assigned)

    + Help develop athletes’ skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork

    + Supervise student-athletes during practices, meets, and travel

    + Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and athletic staff

    + Follow all district, league, and NYSPHSAA rules and regulations

    Qualifications

    + Prior coaching and/or competitive Track & Field experience preferred

    + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

    + NYSED coaching requirements (or willingness to complete):

    + First Aid/CPR/AED

    + DASA

    + Child Abuse Identification

    + School Violence Prevention

    + Fingerprint clearance required

    Compensation

    + Stipend based on the current BH-BL Coaches’ Contract
