As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This is an armed and driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on-site, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related threats within the area.

+ Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while maintaining a visible presence.

+ Follow all protocols for access control and assist in managing entry and exit points as directed.

+ Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Six months or more of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
