As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and mall locations, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.

+ Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all patrons.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Handcuffing Certification is preferred.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
