    As a **Security Officer - Utilities Patrol** in **Riviera Beach, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a utilities location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people on-site, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

    + Monitor and report any irregularities or suspicious activities observed during patrols within the utility location.

    + Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, maintenance needs, and/or hazards identified during patrols.

    + Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or authorization for entry to restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Access control or badge experience is preferred.

    + Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
