    Job Title: METROLOGY CMM INSPECTOR** **Job Description

     

    Utilize Calypso for the inspection of complex metal 3D printed parts and geometries. The role involves using blue light scanning and metrology tools to inspect and analyze part geometries, ensuring the maintenance of metrology equipment and reading blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CMM and perform inspections using Calypso.

    + Conduct blue light scanning to inspect and analyze part geometries.

    + Utilize gauges, micrometers, and calipers for precise measurements.

    + Interpret and apply GD&T for quality assurance.

    + Maintain and manage metrology equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CMM operation.

    + Experience as a Metrology Inspector.

    + Knowledge of GD&T principles.

    + Ability to utilize Calypso software.

    + Experience with blue light scanning technology.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with 3-D printing processes.

    + Familiarity with advanced sensing and real-time controls.

    + Good personality fit for a start-up environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Segundo, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
