Job Title: SR. Engineering Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe and reliable operation of high-volume manufacturing equipment. You will diagnose and resolve mechanical and basic electrical issues, mentor fellow technicians, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the floor. This hands-on, fast-paced role is central to achieving quality and output goals in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities
+ Diagnose and repair mechanical systems and basic electrical systems on production equipment.
+ Mentor and train fellow technicians, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
+ Utilize mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
+ Lead and motivate a team, providing in-the-moment feedback to drive team success.
+ Support a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in manufacturing processes.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ 1+ year of team leadership, mentorship, or lead-tech responsibilities.
+ Fluency in reading prints and schematics (mechanical/electrical).
+ Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
+ Safety-first approach.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the medical device or regulated industry is a plus.
Work Environment
Work on a manufacturing floor as the technician alongside a team of 15 other technicians. Long pants, boots, and PPE are required on the floor. This location designs and manufactures cardiac pacemakers. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM (four 10-hour shifts). The position is contract-to-hire and is open due to growing production demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
