    Job Title: Medical Assistant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for rooming patients in exam rooms, taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and preparing both the patient and equipment for the provider. Additionally, you will handle patient calls and messages for providers and complete pre-visit planning to ensure all necessary information and reports are ready for provider review.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients in exam rooms and take vital signs.

    + Collect patient history and prepare patients for provider examination.

    + Prepare necessary equipment for provider use.

    + Receive and manage patient calls and messages for providers.

    + Complete pre-visit planning to gather all required information and reports for provider review.

    Essential Skills

    + Medical assisting

    + Patient care

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 2+ years of medical assisting experience

    + BLS Certification required

    + Registration or Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred but not required

    Work Environment

    This role is based in a clinic environment, supporting providers. The position requires working 4 days per week, with 10-hour shifts from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. There may be some flexibility to start or end 30-45 minutes earlier or later, but availability for the full 10-hour shift each day is necessary.

    This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.50/hr.
