You will be delivering exceptional care to patients with chronic acute liver disease in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver flawless care to patients in the Hepatology Transplant department.

+ Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretations.

+ Develop personalized treatment plans and effectively communicate them to patients and their families.

+ Perform procedures such as staple and suture removal, surgical wound care, and wound vac dressing changes as needed.

+ Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.

+ Actively participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient outcomes.

+ Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.

Qualifications

Education:

+ Master’s of Nursing Degree (MSN) required

+ Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required

License/Certification:

+ Current State of California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License required

+ National certification as an NP required

+ Current BLS certification

+ DEA license required

Experience:

+ A minimum of 2 years working in acute care nursing OR 2 years serving as a Nurse Practitioner required

+ Experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred

+ Experience with transplant or hepatology patients desired
