We’re rapidly expanding and in need of new staff who are eager to grow with the company. Candidates can be experienced or IABA will provide training for highly motivated non-experienced staff! Non-degree holders and folks pivoting their career are encouraged to apply!

As an Employment Coach, you will have more than just a job - you will have the opportunity to directly impact someone’s life for the better! You will support individuals with disabilities and match them with activities, volunteer work, interests, and/or employment.

+ Provide meaningful direct services to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach their goals!

+ Support clients with autism and intellectual disabilities in workplaces, schools, and the community

+ Facilitate meaningful community connections through activities and volunteer opportunities

+ Teach independent living skills and promote adaptive behaviors

+ Provide transportation and assist with public transit training

+ Encourage client growth in a fun, supportive environment

+ Have fun!

Requirements

+ Possess a minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.

+ Reliable vehicle, valid CA driver’s license, insurance, and clean driving record

+ Provide transportation and assist with mobility training

+ CPR/First Aid and ProAct certification within first two weeks of employment

+ Personal care assistance (restroom assistance/changing diaper, wheelchair assistance, comfortable with ADLs)

+ Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, squat, and lift 25 lbs.

+ Physically assist, guide, and facilitate movement of clients that need assistance (e.g., transfer in/out of wheelchair) and other mobility issues specific to client, and stand or walk for extended periods of time.

+ Successfully pass a Live Scan DOJ/FBI background check

+ Prior training in ABA or direct service is a plus!

Important Details!

+ Monday-Friday Schedule

+ Part-Time and Full-Time opportunities available

+ Schedule: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM/ 9 AM - 3 PM

+ 30+ hours/week (Full-time)

+ Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
