Materials Management Rep positions at MD Anderson Cancer Center are critical to ensuring the timely delivery and management of supplies, equipment, and linen throughout the institution. This role supports patient care by maintaining accurate inventory levels, preparing emergency carts, and facilitating the flow of essential materials across multiple departments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare supply chain and inventory management, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.
Minimum $19.71 - Midpoint $24.52 - Maximum $29.33 per hour based on a 40-hour work week. The typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am, with weekends required. Work location: Onsite.

*Responsibilities*
*Supply & Inventory Management*
• Perform daily room checks for patient chargeable equipment and generate appropriate charge tickets
• Place orders with primary vendors and verify receipt of supplies against order documents
• Conduct inventory and replenish supplies in designated areas
• Maintain and prepare emergency carts and perform accurate emergency cart checks
*Delivery & Distribution*
• Deliver requests for supplies, linen, equipment, and packages promptly
• Stock, deliver, and maintain 24-hour par level locations and/or exchange carts in patient supply and linen areas
• Assist with traffic flow within Distribution Services
*Equipment & Linen Handling*
• Decontaminate equipment and instruments according to standards
• Store, dispense, pick up, and deliver linen, patient supplies, and equipment
*Compliance & Support*
• Participate in mandatory in-services, inventories, and continuing education
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, or transporting in areas where medications are delivered or stored to ensure medications are secured appropriately
*EDUCATION*
* Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Preferred: Associate's Degree
*WORK EXPERIENCE*
* Required: 2 years Relevant work experience. or
* Required: No experience required with preferred degree.
Preferred: Materials Management or supply chain experience in healthcare, inventory experience, excellent customer service, team player.
