Job Description
The Marketing Specialist supports and assists the execution of multi-channel marketing initiatives that drive engagement, strengthen the brand, and inform members. This is a support-focused role that helps with writing and developing content for digital and print channels – including email campaigns, website content, blogs, and member communications-while assisting with day-to-day marketing operations.
Working under the direction of the Marketing Director and in collaboration with internal partners, the Marketing Specialist contributes to campaigns and materials by providing clear, engaging, and brand-aligned copy, maintaining consistency in messaging, and supporting the effective use of digital marketing platforms. Experience supporting email marketing campaigns and marketing automation tools is highly valued, with design support and collaboration serving as a secondary component of the role.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Support content development by writing and editing brand-aligned copy for email campaigns, newsletters, blogs, website pages, digital banners, and online banking platforms.
+ Ensure consistency in voice, tone, and style across all communications; edit and proofread content to maintain clarity, accuracy, and quality standards.
+ Assist with the execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting subject lines, preview text, body copy, and calls to action; supporting campaign builds, testing, and updates as needed.
+ Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platforms is a plus.
+ Support day-to-day marketing operations, including managing incoming marketing requests, support project timelines, and maintain calendars and documentation related to campaigns and content development
+ Coordinate company storefront operations, including inventory management, promotional items, and vendor coordination, as needed.
+ Collaborate with designers or use basic design tools (Adobe, Canva) to support the creation of simple marketing materials (e.g., email headers, flyers, digital graphics), following brand guidelines.
+ Assist in producing print and collateral materials, including brochures, in-branch signage, direct mail pieces, and other campaign-related materials.
+ Build and maintain a library of marketing assets, including copy, testimonials, images, and creative files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible.
+ Support the execution of the monthly social media calendar by drafting captions, coordinating approvals, and scheduling content.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
+ Strong writing and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt tone to different audiences
+ Experience supporting or executing email marketing campaigns
+ Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email platforms is a plus
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
+ Understanding of brand identity and visual design principles
+ Experience with digital platforms (email platforms, CMS, online banking ad systems) is a plus
+ Experience with print production and collateral development
+ Strong organization and multitasking skills with attention to detail
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in credit unions, banking, or financial services preferred
+ Knowledge of project management platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, Trello)
The pay range for this position is listed above. Our pay ranges are designed to allow for candidates with various levels of experience and skill to be considered, and to allow room for growth to be achieved in a role over time. Generally, new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their individual combination of experience, knowledge, skills, and education as well as internal equity.
