    As a **Security Officer - Armed Site Specialist** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

    + Monitor for suspicious behavior and report any security-related concerns according to established protocols.

    + Assist visitors, employees, and/or the public with inquiries or directions as appropriate to the environment.

    + Operate security-related equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings at all times during assigned shifts.

    + Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required by site protocols.

    + Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency responses.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have at least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.

    + Possess a valid armed guard card or license.

    + Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
