    Become part of Essentia’s accomplished team in Duluth, Minnesota on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior!We are currently hiring for our Med/Surg Float Pool at Essentia Health - Duluth!Essentia Health - Duluth consists of the following floors:- Observation Unit- Inpatient Rehab- Adolescent Behavioral Health- Adult Behavioral Health- Med/Surg This float pool is primarily between Observation, Inpatient Rehab, and Med/Surg Floors as we have a separate Behavioral Health Float Pool.This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your nursing skillsets in the acute care setting! Submit an application today!- You will be responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - You will delegate aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. - You will contribute to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

    Education Qualifications:

    + **BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing**

    This position will work the following:

    + 0.75 FTE

    + 12 Hour Shifts

    + Day/Night Rotation

    + Every third weekend

    + $2.00 per hour upon hire into a float pool position

    Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

    Current nursing licensure in Minnesota

     

    Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

    PALS or ACLS preferred

    **Experience:** 1 year Acute RN experience required, Critical Care experience preferred.

    Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to:

    + **ADN: $7,500**

    + **BSN: $10,000**

    **Shift Start/End:** 7am, 7pm/7:30pm, 7:30am

    **Hours Per Pay Period:** 70

    **Compensation Range:** $45.30 - $68.22 / hour

    **Union:** Miller Dwan MNA RNs (MDRN)

    **FTE:** 0.75

    **Weekends:** Every 3rd
