    What You’ll Do

    + Lead and support transportation design tasks including roadway geometry, highway design, grading and drainage, utility coordination, and green infrastructure.

    + Develop detailed design plans, profiles, cross‑sections, and technical drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and InRoads/OpenRoads.

    + Prepare technical reports, contract documents, cost estimates, and supporting engineering analyses.

    + Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and contribute throughout concept, preliminary design, and final design phases.

    + Ensure compliance with NYCDOT, NYCDDC, and applicable transportation standards.

    + Provide engineering support on additional civil/transportation tasks as needed.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

    + 5+ years of experience supporting NYCDOT, NYCDDC, or NYC‑based transportation projects.

    + Strong roadway/highway design background, including grading and drainage.

    + Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation; experience with InRoads/OpenRoads.

    + EIT certification preferred.

    + Demonstrated experience preparing plans for civil/highway design projects.

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
