Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical manufacturer focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Veterinary Laboratory Associate to join the team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!

**Pay** : $25/hr

**Schedule:** Mon-Fri 8a-4p

**Location** : Aims, Iowa

**Type of Job:** one year assignment with possibility of extension

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare labels and label clinical study samples.

+ Assist in collection of clinical study samples or necropsy.

+ Aliquot clinical study samples. (serum, swab effluents, fecal samples, animal tissue samples).

+ Maintain electronic inventory of clinical study samples.

+ Accurately record all laboratory activities and techniques on data capture forms, research notebooks, and raw data notebooks as appropriate.

+ Review and contribute to protocols, planning, and execution.

+ Create and prepare submissions to diagnostic laboratories and to BIAVRC laboratories.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree

+ Experience handling veterinary laboratory samples

+ Experience with aseptic technique
