Job Description:

AHMG Oncology and Hematology at Kissimmee

2400 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Suite 205, Kissimmee, FL 34741 / will float to Celebration practice 2-3 times per week

Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 3pm

+ Provides supportive resources and education to patients and family members on treatment and side effects.

+ Teaches patients and their families about treatment expectations and procedures. Other duties as assigned.

+ Completes necessary patient forms such as FMLA, disability, and letters of medical necessity.

+ Assists the benefits team in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and infusion-related treatments.

+ Facilitates communication by answering voicemails, emails, texts, and Microsoft Teams messages.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Port Flush [Required]

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 1+ inpatient oncology , icu or pcu experience [Preferred]

• 1+ oncology experience [Required]

• 1+ physician office experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) [Preferred]
