    We're looking for a hungry, competitive Sales Development Representative to fuel our explosive growth. You'll be on the front lines identifying and qualifying opportunities with facility directors, energy managers, and real estate executives at companies operating 150+ locations nationwide.

    Where is the work:

    This is a **virtual** position.

    What you will do:

    _Prospecting & Outreach (60%)_

    + Identify and research target accounts in retail, QSR, grocery, hospitality, healthcare, and other multi-site verticals

    + Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn) to engage facility directors, VP of Operations, energy managers, and sustainability leaders

    + Leverage the Trane Technologies relationship and existing customer base to create warm introductions

    + Book qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives (minimum 12-15 per month)

    _Qualification & Discovery (30%)_

    + Run initial qualification calls using our diagnostic selling framework

    + Understand prospect's current HVAC challenges, energy costs, sustainability goals, and decision-making process

    + Identify technical fit (building types, square footage, existing systems) and commercial fit (budget authority, timeline, multi-site footprint)

    + Score opportunities using our qualification criteria and accurately forecast pipeline

    _Collaboration & Feedback (10%)_

    + Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and successful conversions

    + Provide market intelligence on competitor positioning, objections, and messaging effectiveness

    + Contribute to refining scripts, email templates, and qualification criteria

    + Help newer team members ramp faster by sharing what's working

    What you will bring:

    + 3.5 years of SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or commercial services required

    + Proven track record of exceeding activity metrics and quota

    + Ability to hold your own on the phone with senior executives—you're not intimidated by VP-level conversations

    + Strong business acumen and curiosity about how buildings operate, energy economics, and sustainability

    + Self-starter mentality—you figure things out and don't wait to be told what to do

    + CRM discipline (Salesforce or similar)—your data needs to be clean and current

    Nice-to-Haves:

    + Experience selling to facility management, real estate, operations, or sustainability teams

    + Knowledge of commercial real estate, HVAC systems, energy management, or building automation

    + Background in multi-site retail, hospitality, healthcare, or QSR industries

    + Familiarity with diagnostic selling, MEDDPICC, or similar qualification frameworks

    Compensation:

    Base Pay Range: $ $75,000 – 85,000

     

    Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
