SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
The Director of Sales is a key commercial executive responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion of our market leading Advance Flow Solutions. This role involves providing strategic input to new product development, leading product marketing initiatives, and achieving ambitious sales targets. The Director of Sales- AFS, is also accountable for ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, collaborating closely with manufacturing to guarantee on-time delivery, and monitoring product quality.
Additionally, this role requires strong leadership to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. The Director of Sales will mentor and coach team members, set clear performance expectations, and provide regular feedback. They will also lead by example, demonstrating integrity, accountability, and a commitment to achieving the company's vision and goals. Furthermore, the Director of Sales will be responsible for identifying and nurturing future leaders within the team, ensuring a robust succession plan is in place.
The Director of Sales will also play a pivotal role in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with departments such as marketing, product development, finance, and customer service to align strategies and achieve common goals. This includes participating in cross-functional meetings, contributing to joint projects, and ensuring effective communication and coordination across teams. By fostering strong interdepartmental relationships, the Director of Sales will help drive innovation, streamline processes, and enhance overall organizational performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Development and execution of SAM and SAM Boost based sales plan.
+ Calling on End Users (Fire Departments) to develop relationships and secure sale.
+ Responsible for conducting sales activities while meeting administrative responsibilities to ensure that both critical to customer and critical to business goals are achieved to exceed sales plan on a monthly and quarterly basis. Monitor performance through the review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports or scorecards.
+ Uncover, develop, and co-manage new specification opportunities to expand our presence and share of market.
+ Demonstrate effective account and pipeline opportunity management with the Salesforce CRM tool.
+ Assists with the planning of sales exhibits, while attending sales meetings and trade shows related to SAM and SAM Boost accounts.
+ May have additional dealer responsibilities within the assigned territory.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
+ Education: 4-year degree in business, marketing, engineering, or fire services preferred.
+ Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
+ Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
+ Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
+ Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and provide input to new product development and marketing initiatives.
+ Customer Focus: Strong customer orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with other departments to achieve common goals.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ 70% of the time will be spent traveling.
+ 30% of time will be spent in home office.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $120,900.00 - $181,300.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
