    Join a precision-driven manufacturing environment where quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement matter.  We are seeking a skilled Rotary Grinder Machinist to inspect, prepare, and grind precision components while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Inspect parts prior to grinding to identify chips, cracks, or defects.

    + Verify workpiece dimensions against blueprint specifications.

    + Inspect incoming parts from other departments for accuracy and quality.

    + Review blueprints for inconsistencies and communicate findings as needed.

    + Apply basic grinding principles and practices to support accurate machining operations.

    + Record job times accurately for tracking and reporting purposes.

    + Provide input and suggestions to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.

    + Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and state and federal regulations.

    + Promote a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace.

    + Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

    + Working knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

    + Ability to diagnose and correct equipment or process issues using test equipment and/or prior experience.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to understand written correspondence and technical documentation.

    + Must be a U.S. citizen or able to comply with U.S. export regulations.

    Physical Demands:

    + Ability to stand, sit, or bend for up to 10 hours per day.

    + Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted and with control.

    + Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, and safety shoes.

    + Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Work Environment:

    + On-site role within a precision machining facility.

    + Frequent exposure to large industrial machinery and moving mechanical parts.

    + Moderately high noise levels in a manufacturing environment.

    Education & Experience:

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Completion of a surface grinding apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
