Welcome to Parker Industrial Process Filtration
At Parker’s Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.
The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.
The responsibilities described here are representative of those tasks an employee performs to successfully complete the essential functions of this job; however, this is not a comprehensive listing of all tasks that may be assigned or required. + The general duties include, but may not be limited to the following:
+ • Use specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to produce detailed Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) drawings while following instructions from project coordination and other drafters.
• With supervision, create drawing numbers and Inventory Control Numbers (ICN), as needed.
• Follow instructions to correctly archive and file drawings; electronically save all drawings; revise drawings per customer and project coordination instructions; and create As-built and Certified Final drawings.
• Create electronic versions of older drawings and bring them up to current standards.
• With supervision, layout and draw standard 2D/3D and isometric views which depict functional relationships of components.
• Create bills of material, schedule of openings, and required notes on drawings.
• With guidance, find related reference documents and drawings prepared by others.
• With guidance, find information on IPF Division products by using blocks and CAD standard files.
• With guidance, find information on manufacturing standards and tolerances such as ASME, ISO, ANSI, ASTM, OSHA, etc., and apply them to daily activities

The minimum qualifications required include, but may not be limited to, the following:
• Ability to use the IPF Division’s current versions of 2D, 3D, Windows and MS Office software.
• Familiar with the dimensioning concepts of print-to-scale, model spacing, and paper spacing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven, team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a standard tape measure.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• CAD training
• Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must meet the physical demands for the position including, but not limited to, the ability to:
• Stand for long periods.
• Bend, stoop, walk, kneel, crouch, carry and climb.

• Frequently, lift and/or move 1 to 20 pounds, and occasionally, up to 50 pounds.
• Use specific vision faculties which include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, non-controlled temperature environments, moderate to high noise levels and harmful light emitted by welding machinery and flying metal particles, only, if and when, the employee is in the shipping or shop areas. The duties of this job are primarily performed in climate-controlled temperature office environments, with low to moderate noise levels and fluorescent, incandescent and/or natural lighting.
