    Our client, a leading Energy & Power Generation company, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team.

     

    As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management organization supporting global Supplier Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.

     

    The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, cross‑functional communication ability, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

     

    **Job Title:** Supplier Quality Engineer

    **Location:** Fort Payne, AL

    **Pay Range:** 44$ - 50$ per hour

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + Conduct supplier qualification activities, including audits, capability assessments, and risk evaluations.

    + Lead cross‑functional teams to execute Product & Process Qualification (PPQ) in alignment with standards and procedures.

    + Manage and optimize Supplier Quality processes, tools, and guidelines to ensure compliance and continual improvement.

    + Drive supplier improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventative actions with measurable results.

    + Support early supplier involvement, participating in design reviews and collaborating on DTL (design to localization) and DTC (design to cost) efforts.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, or a technical engineering field.

    + Strong knowledge of welding, coatings, ISO and ASME standards; CWI certification preferred.

    + Experience with RCA methods, quality tools, project leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration in global environments.

    + Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%; Lead Auditor certification and fluent English required.
