Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Poughkeepsie, NY

**Pay Range:** $27

**Shift:** 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

+ Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and building systems

+ Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including replacing defective parts

+ Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations

+ Monitor and control building systems such as HVAC to maintain optimal conditions

+ Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance and repair work for compliance and equipment tracking

What's Needed?

+ Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

+ Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing issues effectively

+ Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects

+ Attention to detail for thorough inspections and record-keeping

+ Effective communication skills to relay technical information clearly
