    Description

    Robert Half Legal is excited to partner with a leading Am Law 200 firm in their search for a Junior Associate Attorney to support the partner overseeing the Complex Commercial Litigation and Employment Defense Practice Group. This contract-to-hire opportunity is fully remote, offering flexibility for candidates residing anywhere in the United States.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses in complex commercial litigation and employment defense matters.

    + Conduct legal research, prepare memoranda, and analyze case law and statutory authority.

    + Support the partner in case strategy, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

    + Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as directed.

    + Manage and review case files and ensure timely compliance with all deadlines.

    + Monitor court dockets, organize evidence, and assist with internal and external reporting.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + JD from an accredited law school.

    + Active California bar membership.

    + Minimum 1 year of experience practicing law, ideally commercial litigation and/or employment defense.

    + Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
