    Job Opportunity: Structural Engineer, Suffolk County, NY

    Job Description:

    + Structural design and analyses of commercial and industrial structures as well as facilities in the Long Island and New York metropolitan areas

    + Working in conjunction with other engineers, designers and architects in our West Islip, NY office.

    + 10% field travel a year for construction oversight

    + Current Projects:

    + 5 story concrete structure in river head

    + 2 story science museum

    + Additional commercial and municipal buildings

    Additional Details:

    + Mileage/tolls reimbursed

    + Work Schedule: 4 days in office; 1 day remote

    + They work on a number of large and exciting projects

    + 1 round interview process, & final decision within 48 hours

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

    + 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial and commercial projects.

    + Experienced with Steel, Wood, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber structures

    + STAAD, AutoCAD, Bluebeam; finite element design experience

    + Familiarity with New York State, Long Island and New York City building codes and zoning ordinances.

    This is a Permanent position based out of West Islip, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
