    Job Title: Architectural DesignerAbout the Role

     

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Designer/Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (or related field) and bring strong knowledge of building codes for multi‑family projects, particularly within New York City. This position requires proficiency in Revit, familiarity with creating construction documents, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in mixed‑use, multi‑family, commercial, or historic preservation projects is highly preferred.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design, detail, and draft plans for multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects across NYC.

    + Develop projects using Revit and AutoCAD.

    + Manage multiple filings, drawing sets, and documentation for large preservation and rehabilitation projects throughout the NY Metro Area.

    + Lead and mentor junior architects and coordinate with consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

    + Conduct project site visits, assess existing conditions, and provide practical design solutions.

    + Produce detailed drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of residential units across New York City and surrounding areas.

    + Perform on-site measurements and photographic documentation for existing conditions.

    Essential Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

    + Strong proficiency in Revit.

    + Solid understanding of building codes related to multi-family housing.

    + Experience in historic preservation, rehabilitation, or restoration work.

    + 2–3 years of professional architectural experience, including BIM workflows.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    + Experience working on NYCHA projects.

    + Background in Affordable Housing and Design Development.

    + Familiarity with construction administration and project management.

    + Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage client relationships.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
